Find journals that publish work like yours.
Paste your title and abstract. We search the OpenAlex scholarly index across all publishers and show where the closest research appears, with citation, open-access and fee facts for each journal.
Is the idea itself strong enough for these journals?
ScholarSignal evaluates your contribution, design and journal fit against an editor rubric and the closest existing work, before you write the paper.
Evaluate my idea for freeWhy a publisher-independent journal finder
Journal finders run by publishers recommend only that publisher’s own journals. This one ranks journals by where research similar to yours has actually been published, whatever the publisher, with a focus on marketing, management and adjacent business fields.
Each journal shows how many of the closest works it published, a few examples, its two-year mean citations and h-index from OpenAlex, whether it is fully open access (listed in DOAJ) and its article processing charge when one is listed.
Questions
How are journals ranked?
By how many of the most similar recent works each journal published, weighted by how close those works are to your text. Similarity comes from OpenAlex semantic search and a keyword search.
Does a match mean my paper fits the journal?
It means the journal publishes work on similar topics. Scope, contribution type and methods still decide fit; read the aims and recent issues before you submit.
Are acceptance rates or review times included?
Not yet. Most business publishers do not release them openly. ScholarSignal members can record their own submission outcomes, and aggregated review times will appear once enough researchers report the same journal.
Is my abstract stored?
No. It is sent to OpenAlex to run the search and is not saved by ScholarSignal. Privacy
